Hi I am Abhishek Sharma currently pursuing the MS in Data Science Program at University of Rochester. I have done my Bachelors in Technology in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology - Kanpur (IITK).
I aim to pursue a career in data science and applied research and explore many applications cutting across Business Analytics, FinTech, and healthcare.
For the last two years, I have worked as an Associate Manager inchange of Digitization projects in the Supply Chain at Vedanta Resources for their Aluminum Business. During my undergraduate years, I pursued various advanced courses in Engineering and Finance, such as Financial Econometrics, Macro and Micro Economics, Transport Phenomena, and BioElectricity. I have explored my interest in Data Science through various corporate research projects and academic endeavors developing a keen interest in the field of data science.
